Celebrating 40 years of Kellenberg Memorial.
Learn more about the milestone here.
Dear Friends,
Whether you are visiting us for the first time or returning to reconnect with a place that has touched the minds and hearts of so many, I am grateful that you are here. Kellenberg Memorial is, above all, a Christ-centered Community of faith and learning rooted in the Marianist tradition. Inspired by Mary, the Mother of Jesus, we teach, lead, coach, and counsel, by relationship.
Since our founding in 1987, we have created a school culture rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and guided by a time tested liberal arts curriculum. Each student is given the opportunity to grow in mind and heart through faith-filled activities, academic instruction, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, and athletics. Our students, ranging from sixth grade in the Latin School through twelfth grade in the High School, are immersed in an environment that values daily prayer, strong moral character, and a lively sense of purpose. We believe that education is not only about what one knows, but also about the kind of person one becomes. We are committed to the mission of creating saints and assisting each of our students in the journey of becoming that person God intended each one to become.
As you explore our website, I hope you gain a sense of the spirit that animates all we do here. From rigorous academic programs and vibrant extracurricular life, to our deeply rooted Catholic identity and commitment to service, Kellenberg Memorial is a place where young people are formed for lives of holiness, integrity, leadership, and generosity.
We invite you to learn more, to visit us in person, and to discover for yourself the joy and mission that define Kellenberg Memorial.
To Jesus Through Mary,
Bro. Kenneth M. Hoagland, S.M.

For 40 years, Kellenberg Memorial has proudly served Long Island, providing a Catholic, Marianist education for students in grades six through twelve. Named for Most Rev. Walter P. Kellenberg, the founding bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, the school reflects his devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and lifelong support of Catholic education.
Across its High School and Latin School, Kellenberg Memorial educates over 2,500 students annually under the motto “One Heart and One Mind.”
Through faith formation, a rigorous liberal arts curriculum, athletics, co-curricular programs, and service opportunities, young men and women are formed in body and spirit, graduate at a 100% rate, and go on to make a meaningful difference in the world.
