School uniforms are required and must be purchased through Lands’ End or Flynn & O’Hara. Variations of the uniform are not acceptable. Each grade band (6-8, 9-10, and 11-12) has its own uniform, with a warm-weather option during designated weeks at the start and end of the school year. The complete uniform, including the school ID and lanyard, is worn throughout the school day and before and after school on campus.
Find the full grade-by-grade uniform lists on pages 80-82 of the Student Handbook, available in the Document Library.
Dress & Appearance
All students are expected to have a neat, well-groomed appearance. The code covers jewelry, piercings, makeup, hairstyles, and hair color (naturally occurring colors only). Boys are to be clean shaven. The Administration’s judgment is final in all matters of dress and appearance.
Find the complete code on page 79 of the Student Handbook, available in the Document Library.
Physical Education
Students wear the school-issued physical education uniform for gym classes. It is issued when a student enters Kellenberg Memorial, and replacement parts are sold in the school bookstore. Athletic socks and laced sneakers are required, and no jewelry may be worn in class.
Find the full PE attire requirements on pages 29-30 of the Student Handbook, available in the Document Library.
Special Events & Non-Uniform Dress
When the uniform is not required for a school activity, the event’s moderator sets the dress code, and students are expected to dress modestly and neatly. Specific attire requirements apply to Commencement and to formal events such as the Junior Ring Banquet and the Athletic Awards Banquets.
